Long distance moves on the up!

Well it is still quite remarkable the amount of long distance moves that we are carrying out and quoting for. It appears that people are much more willing to move further afield to find their dream home in a perfect location or happy to relocate for a new job and chapter in their lives.

Over the past few weeks we have moved families From Eastbourne and Kings lynn and moved people to Torquay, Dawlish and Bognor regis. In the coming weeks we have some more exciting long distance moves to Devon, Cornwall, mid wales, Kent and Hertfordshire.

Relocating to a different town or the other end of the country can be challenging to say the least but we are happy to give free advice and talk with our customers about the important steps and forward planning needed to effect a smooth transition. Most long distance moves are carried out over two days so overnight accomodation maybe needed, or if you new home is not too far away it may be possible to part load day 1, collect beds tv ect day 2, travel and unload the same day. This causes less disruption for the customer and saves money on hotels ect. There are many different ways to plan a long distance move, but with my experience there is always a plan to be had!
